The Auxiliary to the AVMA is a non-profit organization of family, professionals, associates, and friends of the veterinary profession whose purpose is to promote the science and art of veterinary medicine through communication, education, and support of those associated with the profession.

What does the Auxiliary do:

  • Publish and distribute the AUXILIARY NEWS for all members and the INTERCOM for our Student Auxiliary members.
  • Run Kritters Korner, our innovative gift shop which features on-line and selected veterinary conference venues. (Raises money for our activities and the Student Loan Fund)

S.O.K.S. ORIENTATION (During Freshman Orientation)
Our first opportunity to orient the significant other and the student to the vet school and the city of Manhattan, is through this handbook. We have provided you with email addresses for all of our officers, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have prior to your move to Kansas. During the KSUCVM Orientation, we will provide the significant others an opportunity to meet and greet members of the group as well as provide a question and answer session.
