Basic Safety Training

 

All CVM employees must complete basic safety training.  Newly hired laboratory personnel must complete all training before work may begin in the laboratory.   All other personnel have 30 days to complete training.  All employees must have the Safety Compliance Form on file.   (For laboratory personnel, this form must be in the laboratory training documentation folder; Facilities maintains their own training.)

Basic safety training must be renewed every 2 years.

Individuals must view and understand the material presented in the videos listed on the CVM intranet site. The following link will take you directly to these videos.  NOTE:  These videos are on the CVM intranet; you must log in to view them.  These videos are also available for check out at the CVM library, as well as the A&P Research Management Office, Coles 110.

Individuals must attend one session of the “Hazardous Waste Awareness Class” provided by the Department of Environmental Health and Safety.  The schedule for these classes can be found on the following link:
