Dr. Linda Johnson received the Kansas Association for Educational Communications and Technology (KAECT) Lyle E. Grooters Higher Education Award at the Conference/Membership meeting in Salina, KS, April 9, 2003.  The plaque says: "In recognition of Leadership and Service in Higher Education in the field of Educational Communications and Technology in the State of Kansas".  Dr. Grooters presented the award - he is retired and now lives in Arkansas.

KAECT guidelines are:
The Lyle E. Grooters Higher Education Award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to higher education and service to KAECT.  This individual must be employed at an institution of higher education in the state of Kansas and have made significant contributions to an institution of higher education.  This person also must have served as an elected officer and have served on or chaired numerous KAECT and AECT activities.
