K-State College of Veterinary Medical Continuing Education facilitates life-long learning anytime, anywhere, through innovation, technology and partnerships.

Programs are offered for practitioners, technicians, faculty, students, specialty and professional groups. Participation in these programs can provide licensure renewal and specific certification.

K-State CVM faculty, staff and student organizations work with the VMCE office to provide continuing education seminars and courses in their areas of specialization. We will help assure your program follows mandatory state and university regulations.

VMCE program services offered include:

  • Conference Coordination: marketing, registration processing, financial management, licensure procedures, logistical and AV arrangements, presenter communications and arrangements
  • Certificate programs and credit courses via distance delivery
  • Program and course development
  • K-State Online Facilitation
  • Digital capturing, editing and production

VMCE delivers distance education through 'live' and 'asynchronous' online courses which are developed within the VMCE office.

All our K-State CVM faculty, staff and students are invited to attend CE events and can access college VMCE information on the CVM intranet, https://ww2.vet.k-state.edu/Intranet/ce/register.htm

Note: Student club officers and faculty advisors involved in planning continuing education (CE) events must provide a proposal to the Director of CE six months in advance. The Director of CE and faculty CE committee will review these proposals with a final decision reported back to the student and faculty advisor with 30 days.
