Memorial Award: The primary purpose of
this fund is to provide financial assistance to graduate students in
good standing with the Graduate School (College of Veterinary
Medicine graduate programs) at Kansas State University. The monies
are to help graduate students with expenses related to research
programs and/or professional development.

Embert Coles Memorial
Award: The recipient of this award is
intended to be a graduate student in Clinical Pathology. He/she must
be in good standing in the Graduate School (College of Veterinary
Medicine graduate programs) at Kansas State University. If a
graduate student is not enrolled in the program, the money will be
used to support professional advancement of residents.

Horst W. and Elizabeth A.
Leipold Award: The primary purpose of this
fund is to provide financial assistance to a graduate student in
good standing with the Graduate School (College of Veterinary
Medicine programs) at Kansas State University who is working in
genetic pathology, specifically with hereditary and congenital
anomalies in cattle. If there is no qualified candidate in the
graduate student population, an undergraduate student, junior or
senior, with interest and aptitude in genetic pathology would be
acceptable.

Spencer Award: The goal of this expendable
account is to assist student(s) in a dual-degree (DVM/Masters
Degree) program who has/have demonstrated need.

Leo and Gloria Whitehair
Award: The primary purpose of this fund is
to provide financial assistance to graduate students properly
enrolled in the Graduate School (College of Veterinary Medicine
graduate programs) at Kansas State University. This endowment will
provide enhancement dollars for a graduate student focusing on whole
animal research of any kind. An undergraduate showing interest in
whole animal research may qualify if there is no appropriate
graduate student candidate.

Jane A. Westfall Graduate
Student Fellowship for Women: The
recipient(s) of this fellowship shall be a female student(s)
properly enrolled in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology in the
College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University, who have
an interest and who will pursue the opportunity to present their
research at the national level. The recipient(s) must possess either
a B.S. or D.V.M. degree and have demonstrated academic capability of
being highly competent in the field of research. In all other
respects, these funds shall be awarded without restriction to sex,
race, color, handicap, religion or national origin.

A S R Ganta Award:
An award will be given to a graduate student at the College of
Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University who demonstrated
his/her research competence by publishing a research paper (or
manuscript accepted for publication).
