The Veterinary Medical Library is an entity of the College of Veterinary Medicine as well as a component of the K-State Libraries System. Our primary clientele consists of the students in the professional curriculum, graduate students, staff, and faculty in the College. We also serve the needs of others in the KSU community as well as local health care professionals, veterinarians in the regional area, and others. The VM Library has two major programs, Library Services and DISC Services. It is open to the public.

A variety of study spaces are available in the library. Social seating, with the ability to recharge laptops and study, is provided in the Cyber Café at the front of the library. The Quiet Study Room (Room 408A) is provided for individuals who prefer a silent environment for studying. Individual and group study spaces are available as well. Students in group areas are asked to self-monitor voice levels in consideration of others studying in the area. There are 2 rooms (Room 409 and Room 410) in the back of the library for group study discussions. Comfortable seating of recliners and bean bag chairs are available throughout the library. A map demonstrating the various study areas is available at www.vet.k-state.edu/depts/library.
