Anatomy and Physiology
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE
Graduates of the doctoral program in Veterinary Physiology will:
demonstrate competency in basic physiology; demonstrate the ability to
apply knowledge through critical thinking, inquiry, analysis and
communication and to produce scholarly and creative works; and exhibit
an awareness of their responsibilities and professional conduct towards
all constituent groups.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
- Demonstrate knowledge of core biomedical
science, laboratory practices and lifelong learning.
- Demonstrate skills in laboratory practices,
problem solving/reasoning and planning.
- An ability to do experimental designs.
- Ability to apply an understanding of
information technology.
- Demonstrate knowledge of data analysis.
- Demonstrate knowledge and familiarity with
scientific literature and ability to give scientific presentations.
- Ability to organize, write and publish in
scientific journals.
- Demonstrate the importance of and work to
develop an awareness of their responsibility as a scientist.
