Research Assistant
Research Assistant needed for performing rabies diagnostic tests within the Rabies Laboratory of the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
Responsibilities consist of rabies antibody analyses on human and animal sera including serum neutralization and ELISA assays and primary rabies diagnostic testing using the direct Fluorescent Antibody test on brain material from rabies suspected animals.
Requirements consist of one or more years of laboratory experience and a Bachelor’s degree in biology or related sciences. Basic computer skills such as word processing and data entry are required.
Screening of applicants will begin May 22, 2009 and will continue until the position is filled.
