Postdoctoral Fellowship


The Department of Anatomy and Physiology invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in the epithelial physiology/pharmacology laboratory. The laboratory focuses on two hormone-sensitive epithelia (male reproductive duct lining and mammary epithelia) with emphasis on tight junction formation, ion transport, and associated cell signaling pathways. A Ph.D. (or equivalent) in physiology, pharmacology, molecular biology or a closely related field is required. The applicant will be expected to develop and conduct experimental protocols that rely on molecular techniques. Experience is preferred in RNA isolation and sequencing, siRNA, Western blots, and confocal microscopy.
