A postdoctoral position is available to study
postnatal umbilical cord matrix stem cells (UCMSC) and their ability to
deliver therapeutic molecules to tumors or inflammatory foci. Techniques
employed in the laboratory include stable and transient transfection,
rodent cancer models, flow cytometry, and real-time PCR. Background in
immunology, intravenous or intra-arterial transplantation into rodents,
molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, and image analysis is
desirable. PhD preferred.
