Residency Programs

The Department of Diagnostic Medicine Pathobiology provides residency training program in the disciplines of
  • Anatomic Pathology
  • Clinical Pathology

The residency programs are designed to train residents to meet the requirements to take the certifying examination of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists to become board certified. The residency programs also offer opportunities to concurrently earn a MS in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences or PhD in Pathobiology.

Our department is comprised of large numbers of women and minority students, and we represent a wide variety of ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds. This diversity contributes to developing an understanding that is extraordinarily valuable to our graduates as they enter their respective careers whether it be in international pharmaceuticals, academia, government service, or the biomedical field.
