This is a mixed animal practice located about 7 miles east of beautiful Ruidoso, NM. There is opportunity for small animal and equine practice. We do work on some food animals. We have digital radiography, ultrasonography and many other diagnostic tools. There are many equine breeding farms in the area. We occasionally stand a stud for breeding purposes. Applicant would ideally work with any animals, even a few exotics. However, if you have a preference we may be able to work with that. I have been in business here for 20 years and have a well established client list. I also work in the towns within 400 miles of Ruidoso. We have a mobile service as well as a Clinic. We perform some surgeries and also have the ability to refer cases. The nearest referral hospital is 3 hours away. There are usually two to three students in the summer and two or three technicians year round.
