Practice Description: Highly progressive mixed animal practice. This two-doctor practice is 60% large animal, predominantly cow-calf, and 40% small animal. There are two large animal working facilities, fully equipped with hydraulic chutes. The newer of the two, built in 1995, has an indoor heated OB area. Computer system fully updated in 2005. Position Description: Associate veterinarian position would predominantly involve all large animal aspects. New associate would have the option of practicing small animal medicine and surgery. Business hours are Mon-Fri 8-noon and 1-5 pm. Saturday hours are the responsibility of veterinarian on duty for the weekend. After hour duties are evenly shared, but flexible. Area Description: Superior is located in south central Nebraska. It is a rural family friendly community with a population of approximately 2500. It is located near a recreational lake and camp grounds with prosperous hunting, fishing and golfing. There are many surrounding towns with largest located within 60 miles.
