Reports to the Director, PPHD Global Device Marketing with primary responsibility for the achievement of device product line marketing objectives to maximize share and penetration of the PPHD Device Product Line. The global marketing manager for devices plans for all aspects of device marketing; commercialization, field trials and market optimization. The position is responsible for tactical marketing planning and will oversee and coordinate marketing activities that require the ability to work with and influence cross-departmental operational teams without direct authority. Externally, the incumbent requires the skill to participate in a wide range of supplier, partner and customer relationship meetings.
More specifically, the Global Marketing Manager for Devices.
· Develops and executes the annual operations device marketing plan to achieve PPHD and financial goals for the device product line. Responsible for all aspects of marketing including product positioning, pricing, availability and budgets.
· Inputs into device strategy in support of the Director of Global Device Marketing and coordinates with other product managers, considering synergies which maximize the total return to PPHD. Is a leading PPHD Device information resource.
· In coordination with regional sales maintains contact with key customers and industry influencers. Participates in regional sales meetings and provides marketing perspective (e.g. IRR analysis) for contract negotiations.
· Manages the device rolling forecast across all sales regions.
· Prepares and regularly updates device product profiles for products in development. Manages all phases of product/service development and market introduction.
· Manages global device marketing communications/metrics and builds brand equity.
· Coordinates device market research (e.g. customer satisfaction, competition, industry trends) with PAH global market research team.
· Tracks and analyses competitive activity, proposing appropriate market responses.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
MBA, Poultry Industry experience, bilingual and mechanical device background all preferred.
3-5 years of livestock marketing experience required.
