The College of Veterinary Medicine, Mississippi State University, invites applications and nominations for the position of Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies. The Associate Dean reports directly to the Dean and is a member of the senior leadership team of the College. Research and graduate programs are priorities of the College and have experienced exceptional growth over the past 5-7 years. This trend is expected to continue under the leadership of the new Associate Dean. The selected candidate will provide the leadership necessary to further advance the College's research and graduate programs and maintain an environment conductive to scholarship and productivity. The Associate Dean will also promote the College by recruiting quality faculty and graduate students. Candidates for the position must possess a PhD or comparable advanced research degree. The successful candidate will also have a sustained record of extramural support, a track record of mentoring successful graduate students, and a background of scholarship that merits appointment as a tenured professor in one of the College's three academic departments.
