Colerain Animal Clinic is a full service, high volume medical/surgical practice in the greater Cincinnati area. We are located in the Northwest region of Cincinnati, near the Northgate Mall.
On average we see 200 plus clients per day (total for both clinics). Our surgical list includes 30-50 surgeries a day. These include routine spays and neuters, as well as procedures involving plates, Kirchner, most soft tissue and lexor laser (not back or total hip surgeries yet). We also have an on sight ultrasound machine, MedRx scope and digital X-ray machine.
Colerain Animal Clinic over the years has taken pride in making our veterinary services affordable. Our affordable prices allow pet owners to seek medical attention when their beloved pets are in need. No appointments are necessary except with surgical procedures. We have an experienced registered veterinary technician who operates our in house laboratory. This allows the convenience of receiving CBCs, Profiles, kit tests, minor cytology and urinalysis within hours. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 11pm, Saturday 8am to 4pm and emergency hours on Sunday from 9-5.
In December on 1998 we opened a second clinic in Ft. Wright, Kentucky, which is just across the river. Ft. Wright Pet Care sits on a two-acre lot in a great location. This clinic offers a full service boarding and grooming area. Ft. Wright has excelled beyond our imagination, in a very short period. We are pleased with the demand our new clinic has satisfied.
To my knowledge we are the largest small animal clinic in Ohio and Kentucky. We are working towards a veterinary health care system that truly serves and satisfies the public as well as the staff. We encourage special interest areas and development.
