The ability to interact and communicate with practicing veterinarians and deliver diagnostic information I a concise and well-organized manner is essential. The opportunity also exists to assist in poultry diagnostic services. Salary is commensurate with qualifications. Associate Veterinarian to join a truly mixed animal practice. New graduates welcome and encouraged. Our 4 doctor practice is located in Marcus, Iowa with an additional clinic in Remsen, Iowa. The towns are small town living at their best with popn. approx. 1200 each. Located within 15 miles of shopping, dental and medical, each town also has its own grocery and local shops as well. Plenty of outdoor activities and youth programs and good school systems. Our practice specializes in swine consultation as well as beef herd work. We also offer equine reproductive services such as ultrasound and AI. Small animals are always welcome at our practice and we offer the basics. We are equipped with 3 portable chutes and a portable tub (foremost), a portable headgate/alley and a haul in facility at the Marcus office. We also have ultrasound, x-ray for companion animals and in house bloodwork capabilities. We are an ambulatory practice and cover a practice radius of about 4 counties (45 minute radius).
