2 Associate Veterinarians Wanted Enjoy the natural beauty of northwest Arkansas in a three person mixed animal practice. The St. Francis Veterinary Clinic is a busy 50% small animal, 25% cattle, and 25% equine practice seeking one associate to replace 2 associates who will soon be moving to their respective hometowns. Though mixed animal interest would be a plus, small animal associates will also be considered. This practice is one-of-a-kind, featuring: a brand new facility as of 2007, fully equipped with radiography, ultrasound, CBC/ Chem/ UA, indoor hydraulic chute/tilt table, cow OB chute, equine stocks, and stalls in a heated barn; 3 exam rooms and 2 treatment/dental prophylaxis tables; surgery suite with windows looking out to a country view; and more! In addition to routine small animal preventative health care and surgery, we routinely perform orthopedic surgeries and work up challenging medicine cases. Carroll County, Arkansas, is one of the top 200 counties in the nation in numbers of beef cows, with both spring and fall calving seasons. The equine cases consist of reproduction, power floating, lameness, lacerations, and minor surgery. We also examine goats, sheep, pigs, as well as lions, tigers, and bears at a local wildlife refuge. Our staff creates a fun, Christ-centered environment in which to work. Explore the beautiful Ozarks by hiking, visiting rivers and lakes (Table Rock Lake or Buffalo National River, for example), or touring Eureka Springs and Branson.
