The Veterinary Medicine Library is
located on the 4th floor of Trotter Hall in the Veterinary Medicine Complex at Kansas
State University.
Staff The library has six staff members and reference assistance is available from 7:45 a.m. -
6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Student assistants staff the library during the evenings
and weekends.

Services - Cindy Logan
An orientation tour is given to all incoming
first year veterinary students in the fall. It is followed up with a
computer/database/web training class. The tour and overview of the class
is available for all students on an as needed basis.

Collections In addition to its general collection, the library offers several specialized information
collections.

Circulation Most of the materials at the Veterinary Medical Library circulate. Borrowers include KSU
students, current and retired faculty and staff, and individuals not affiliated with the
University who have obtained a non-University Library User Card. Most materials are also
available for circulation through interlibrary loan services. As part of the KSU Libraries
system, the VM Library follows the circulation policies of the main library.
