- Creating documents in PDF (Portable Document Format)
- Creating forms in PDF
Adobe Acrobat version 9 will be discussed in these classes. Acrobat is the software that is used to create PDF (portable document file) documents.
-- The first hour of the class will focus on the different approaches available to create a PDF document with this software.
--- The second hour of the class will focus on creating forms. There will be a brief discussion of templates for forms that are available with the software.
This will be a 2 hour, hands-on class.

In this class a course will be created from the beginning. Online assignments will be added and the Manage File area will be demonstrated to show where assignments are uploaded. This will be a 1.5 hour, hands-on class.

This class will touch on how to use basic functions such as fixing red eyes in images, cropping an image, adjusting image size, the clone stamp and marquee tool. The second half of this class will show ways to prepare photos, including the best way to scan images and best techniques for using Excel charts in your publication. There will also be some tips and tricks along the way. This will be a 2 hour class.

OneNote is the software that the first, second and third year students use for their electronic class notes. The first hour will demonstrate how the students use OneNote in the classroom and you will have the opportunity to use OneNote. The second hour of the class will demonstrate methods used to prepare materials for use in OneNote or on K-State Online for the students. This will be a 2 hour, hands-on class.

TurningPoint is the audience response system software that is used with PowerPoint. The first hour will show the basics of how to create a TurningPoint presentation. The second hour will be a more advanced session describing the enhanced features of the software. This will be a 2 hour, hands-on class.
