 *Attention International shippers:

  • Regulations for import of serum from domestic canines and felines have changed.
We will no longer be providing import permits for individual samples.
Both USDA and CDC have issued the following statements concerning serum from domestically owned dogs and cats.

  • Please include these documents, along with a signed statement as to the origin of the samples.
Without this statement from the shipper, samples will not be allowed to enter the United States. The laboratory will not make statements as to the non-infectious nature of samples on behalf of the shipper if the proper identification is not included.

  • If there are concerns about the infectious nature of samples, the shipper is responsible for applying to both USDA and CDC for the proper permits (if necessary).
