My service duties consists of
diagnostic pathology services to the KSU Veterinary Diagnostic
Laboratory, providing diagnostic services to submitting veterinarians
from within and outside of the state of Kansas. Additionally, necropsy
and biopsy services are provided to the KSU Veterinary Hospital.
Incorporated within the postmortem services are teaching
responsibilities to fourth year veterinary students as part of a
diagnostic medicine course where students are instructed on necropsy
techniques, gross tissue evaluation, specimen collection techniques, and
etiologic diagnoses.
My research interests are abomasal
bloat in ruminants, adenoviral infections in ruminants, and
investigation of spontaneous infectious diseases of diagnostic cases.
