I participate in the General and
Systemic Pathology courses presented during the second year of the
veterinary curriculum. Teaching involves lectures, laboratories,
case-based discussions, and computer-assisted multimedia presentations.
Our laboratory conducts research
on bovine infectious diseases. Specific projects include investigation
of virulence factors and immunogens of Mannheimia haemolytica and P.
multocida and the host response to infection by these organisms.
I participate in the residency
training program in veterinary anatomic pathology
