My research interests in general are viral diseases of livestock, specifically understanding the molecular pathogenesis and epidemiology of emerging zoonotic pathogens, such as influenza virus and other viral infections of livestock and poultry. I am also interested in the diagnosis of viral diseases of livestock and poultry using novel molecular tools.
