The mission of the Animal Resource Facility is to facilitate animal use in research and teaching, at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University by providing high quality animal care in accordance with both federal and state regulations and AAALAC guidelines.

    The Animal Resource Facility is a service unit that supports research, teaching, and testing programs in the academic units of Anatomy and Physiology, Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, Clinical Sciences, and other units that need housing and care for laboratory animals.  The Animal Resource Facility is staffed by a Director, an Office Manager, a Facility Manager, a Clinical Veterinarian, 2 Animal Science Technicians (II), and 6 Animal Sciences Technicians (I).
