Suhasini has been in the department for almost 5 years. She is a Microbiologist II and manages Dr. Lisa Freeman's laboratory. Suhasini has exceptional technical skills and is adept at cell culture, basic molecular biology, protein chemistry, and confocal microscopy. Importantly, she plays a significant role in training postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, veterinary research scholars and undergraduate students in Dr. Freeman's laboratory. However, what sets Suhasini apart from other individuals are her motivation, patience, and positive attitude. Every day that Suhasini comes to work we know that it is going to be a great day in the department. She lights up the whole department with her smile!
