Radiographic Impressions:
Abdominal mass lesion likely liver. Differentials should include
neoplasia as well as polycystic kidney disease, granulomatous, abscessation cannot be
ruled out. Bilateral nephrocalcinosis.
Ultrasonographic Impressions:
Numerous masses of differing size and differing appearance within the
liver. Differentials should include cystadenomas multiple and of differing
size. Other malignant neoplasia cannot be ruled out. Polycystic liver disease
also should be considered. Abscessation less likely but cannot be completely ruled
out. Fine needle aspirates of the more echogenic solid appearing liver as well as
cystic area were done under ultrasound guidance with no immediate complications.
