The Kansas State University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (KSU VMTH) is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for emergency and critical care services. We have Small animal, Equine and Large animal ICU facilities.

Small Animal and Exotics
Please check-in at the emergency desk when arriving at the hospital. Look for the Emergency sign on the front of the hospital.

If you have called ahead to make arrangements for your arrival, please proceed the back of the hospital and follow the signs the correct area. If you did not call ahead please stop at the emergency desk at the front of the hospital.

Payment Policy
An after hour emergency fee of $97 will be charged to all small animal patients received weekdays between 5 pm and 8 am and weekends.

A deposit of approximately 60% of the estimate is required before treatment is initiated. Payment in full by cash, check, Discover, MasterCard or Visa is due upon termination of the office visit, completion of the ambulatory call or release of the patient from the hospital. The hospital business officer will be happy to discuss payment options.
