Chun joined the faculty at Kansas State University in 1997. She is
currently an associate professor in the Department of Veterinary

is best known for her patient, practical, caring method of teaching. Her
genuine concern for each student is evident. One of Dr. Chun's students
recently commented that "she has outstanding clinical teaching skiffs.
She is sensitive to each student's needs. She explains things in a way
that makes oncology issues easy to understand, and she emphasizes that
which is clinically relevant to us." Another student said, "Dr. Chun is
an excellent teacher and person. She is gentle in her instruction and
knows how to talk to us to help us learn and understand. With clients
she is gentle, understanding, and honest."
The Carl J. Norden Distinguished Teaching Award was
presented to Dr. Chun during the annual College of Veterinary Medicine
Honors Banquet held on April 23, 2004.
