Career opportunities
are NOT full-time jobs! If you need to post a full-time job go here to the
Job Book.
The goal of this webpage is to heighten student awareness
of nontraditional career programs available to veterinary students.
This website provides information to veterinary students regarding
career-related experiences available at every stage of the professional
curriculum.
-
The first method of searching the career experience data
base is based on the years of eligibility for participation. For instance,
1st year students can readily review all programs available to them during
or immediately after their freshman year.
-
The second method of search is based on whether the
program pays the participant (salary or stipend) or alternatively, requires
a fee for participation.
-
The third method of search is based on the category of
interest such as research, government-related, agricultural practice,
exotics, or species-specific programs. For example, a 1st year student with
an interest in veterinary research can use this search function to review
all of the research opportunities that will be available to them during
veterinary school.
The program descriptions contain the eligibility
requirements, application deadlines, dates of participation, approximate
cost/stipend, and contact information. If you would like to submit a career
opportunity to our database, please fill out the form at:
