Camelid Distance Education Program Procedures

  • Register for the seminar(s) in which you want to participate.
  • After you have registered for seminar(s), you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the presentation. Saturday and Sunday registrations will be handled on the following Monday. Please allow 24 hours turn-around time to receive access information.
  • Log-in and watch the on-line seminar(s) at your convenience. Seminars are available for 14 days from the time you receive your access information.
  • Complete the on-line quiz.
  • The quiz is graded and, with a passing grade of 70% or higher, your certificate of completion will be mailed to you.

Computer Requirements

Are these seminars for me?

Level of experience necessary to utilize the seminar information is indicated by the following:

  • O: Seminar material is suitable for all levels of experience including beginners and new owners.
  • B: Seminar material is suitable for advanced levels of experience including Llama and Alpaca Breeders.
  • V: Seminar material is suitable for licensed veterinarians.

Level codes are indicated after the seminar title in each section.

Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine provides certificates of completion to veterinarians who receive a passing grade on the quiz for each seminar. Each seminar is offered for the number of contact hours indicated on the seminar listing. Participants should check with their licensing jurisdiction(s) for information regarding continuing education approval.
