Practice Management Center is located on the fourth floor of
Trotter Hall.
Enter at the Emergency Entrance. Signs will be posted in the
building to direct you to registration.

Parking
Parking is available on the west side
(off Denison Avenue) and on the east side (off Jardine Drive) of
the Veterinary Medical Complex. A parking permit is not required
for weekend parking.
Do not park in the client parking or
reserved stalls as you may get ticketed.
Conference Objectives
To provide practice management for the entire veterinary
health care team that when implemented will result in improved
animal care. The information presented will benefit both small
and large animal practice owners, technicians, office staff, and
veterinary students.

Guest Conference Speakers
Ross Clark, DVM
Dr. Clark received his DVM from Kansas State University in 1963.
He is the co-founder of National PetCare Centers Inc., a group
of 72 small animal hospitals located mostly in Oklahoma, Texas
and the west coast. Dr. Clark has served as practice management
editor for Veterinary Economics Magazine since 1982. Ross was
president of the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association in
1984, served as president of the K-State Veterinary Medical
Alumni Association from 1990 to 1992, and president of the
Western Veterinary Conference in 1998-1999. In December 2002, he
was appointed honorary chairman from Oklahoma to the
Congressional Business Advisory Council. Dr. Clark is author of
Medical, Genetic and Behavioral Aspects of Purebred Cats as well
as editions I and II of Medical and Genetic Aspects of Purebred
Dogs. He is the author of three management books and hundreds of
articles on practice management. His most recent book, Mastering
the Marketplace - Taking Your Practice to the Top, was published
in 1996.
Louise Dunn
Ms. Dunn, a former practice manager, is owner of Snowgoose
Veterinary Management Consulting. Besides consulting with
veterinary practices, she has taught practice management
workshops at 10 veterinary schools and publishes and speaks
nationally. Louise is a founding member and a director of the
Association of Veterinary Management Consultants and Advisors, a
member of the AAHA Leadership Council of 100, involved in the
national VPI Leadership Council, and member of the VHMA and
AVMLA.
Dick Goebel, DVM
Dr. Goebel is Special Assistant to the Dean at Purdue University
School of Veterinary Medicine where his responsibilities include
practice management education for veterinary students and
technician students, and leadership in special clinical and
development projects. In addition, he is president of Simmons &
Associates Great Lakes, a practice brokerage and appraisal firm.
Dr. Goebel serves as a faculty member for the Finance Module of
the Veterinary Management Institute, a certificate series of the
AAHA & Krannert Executive Education Programs, Krannert School of
Management, Purdue University. Dr. Goebel currently serves as a
facilitator for Veterinary Study Groups, Inc., a company that
spawns and supports veterinary management study groups. He also
serves as President-elect of the Association of Veterinary
Practice Management Consultants and Advisors (AVPMCA).
