Entertainment: The Flint Hills Brass Quintet. This quintet is comprised of graduate and undergraduate music students from Kansas State University. The quintet plays engagements on and off campus and performs a recital every semester.

Alumni Recognitions: The K-State Veterinary Medical Alumni Association will present the Honorary Alumni Recognition, Distinguished Alumnus and E. R. Frank Awards. L.L. Wempe will facilitate. Certificates of appreciation will be presented to those executive board members completing their term of service and new member(s) will be inducted.

Distinguished Alumnus Award: Dr. Delwin L. Bokelman from Doylestown, PA, will receive the College's 2003 Distinguished Alumnus Award for outstanding achievements and contributions to the veterinary profession.

E. R. Frank Award: Dr. Dan W. Upson from Manhattan, KS, will receive the College's 2003 E. R. Frank Award for meritorious service to the College and the veterinary profession.

Those receiving Honorary Alumni Recognition Awards for their distinguished leadership in the Army Veterinary Corp and contribution to homeland security are Drs. William Brown, Jerry Jaax, Nancy Jaax, Vern Otte, Alan Brightman, Tom Ksiazek and David Franz.
