The Practice Management Center is located on
the fourth floor of Trotter Hall. Enter at the Dean’s Office Entrance.
Signs will be posted to direct you to registration.
Parking
Parking is available on the west side (off Denison Avenue) and
on the east side (off Jardine Drive) of the Veterinary Medical Complex. A parking
permit is not required for weekend parking. Do not park
in the client parking or reserved stalls as you may get ticketed.

University College of Veterinary Medicine Speakers
Ruthanne Chun, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Associate Professor, Clinical Oncology
Dr. Chun received her DVM degree from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an
internship at Cornell University and a residency at Purdue University.
She was a clinical instructor in oncology at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison before joining the KSU faculty in 1997.
Kenneth Harkin, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Harkin is an assistant professor of small animal internal medicine
in the department of Clinical Sciences at Kansas State University. He
received his DVM from Iowa State University and completed a residency in
internal medicine at Michigan State University. He was in a private
referral practice for three years before joining the faculty at Kansas
State University in 1997.
Chad
Johannes, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Johannes joined the faculty at Kansas State University in the summer
of 2002 as an assistant clinical professor of small animal internal
medicine. His areas of special interest include immunology, infectious
diseases, endocrinology, and oncology. Dr. Johannes's research efforts
have focused on apoptosis (programmed cell death) and its role in
infectious disease mechanisms.
Lisa Moore, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Assistant Professor, Internal Medicine
Dr. Moore graduated from University of Florida in 1991. She completed an
internship (1991-1992) and medical residency (1992-1994) at The Animal
Medical Center in New York City. Lisa went on to complete a third year
of her medical residency (1994-1995) at University of Florida and then
returned to the AMC as a staff gastroenterologist from 1995-1997. She
was in private practice in Tampa, FL 1997-1998. She joined the Kansas
State University faculty in August 1998. Her primary interests are
gastroenterology, critical care, endocrinology, and infectious diseases.
