Sensitivity and Specificity: What Do They Mean and How Are They Used

Predictive Values: What Do They Mean and Why Are They So Important in Every Day Practice

Sample Size Determination: How Do You Know How Many Animals to Test in a Herd/Population so You Can Get a Meaningful Picture of What’s Going On

Computer Lab – An introduction to basic, easy spreadsheets that can help you evaluate sensitivity, specificity, predictive values and sample size. You will be able to take these spreadsheets back to your practice and incorporate them into your everyday decision making. Access to computers and software will be provided.
