Objectives
This meeting will address the growing national (and international) shortfall in the numbers of food animal veterinarians. Current student recruitment trends indicate that this problem will only get worse. Recent events (FMD, BSE, food safety issues, bioterrorism threats) have raised valid questions concerning our food animal veterinary capabilities. If you are an original thinker, an innovator, outcome oriented and strongly motivated to effect positive change in this area, you need to attend this conference!
