KSU Alumni

• Five year class reunions will be held in Manhattan on Friday evening June 1 through Sunday, June 3. Confirmed classes planning a reunion include the Classes of 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, and 1996.

• College and campus tours will be available at 9:00 am and at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 2. An additional tour of the Veterinary Medical Complex will be available Sunday, June 3, at 2:00 pm. All tours will begin at Trotter Hall, first floor foyer.

• The KSU Veterinary Medical Alumni Association will host the conference reception on Sunday, June 3, 5:15 p.m., Trotter Hall Room 2. Jim Hall will facilitate the Association's Annual Business Meeting. The agenda will include the award presentations and the election of officers and executive board members.

• Presentation of the Distinguished Alumnus Award and E.R. Frank Award
  
  Distinguished Alumnus Award: Dr. Duane R. Peterson (DVM 1945, MS 1959, Kansas State University) from Stillwater, Oklahoma, will receive the College's 2001 Distinguished Alumnus Award for outstanding achievements and contributions to the veterinary profession.
  
  E. R. Frank Award: Dr. Jerome G. E. Vestweber (DVM 1964, University of Minnesota; MS 1970, PhD 1973, Kansas State University) from Manhattan, Kansas, will receive the College's 2001 E. R. Frank Award for meritorious service to the College and the veterinary profession.
