Guest Speakers
Ruthanne Chun, DVM,
Diplomate ACVIM
Assistant Professor, Clinical Oncology
Dr. Chun received her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary
Medicine. She did a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at
Cornell. She completed a three-year residency in comparative oncology at Purdue and then
worked as a clinical instructor in oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School
of Veterinary Medicine before joining the KSU faculty in 1997.
Harriet Davidson,
DVM, DACVO Associate Professor, Ophthalmology Dr. Davidson completed her DVM, MS and ophthalmology residency at
Michigan State University and a research fellowship in mucosal immunology at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis is her primary research interest.
Heather Heeb, DVM
Resident, Clinical Oncology Dr. Heeb received her DVM from KSU. She completed a small animal internship at Texas
A&M before joining the KSU faculty as an oncology resident in the department of
Clinical Sciences. She is currently a second year oncology resident.
Chantale Pinard, DVM
Resident, Ophthalmology Dr. Pinard received her DVM from the University of Guelph, Canada. She was in private
practice for four years before completing a small animal internship at the University of
Guelph. She is currently a third year ophthalmology resident.
