Start Date: Part time until November, 2008 then full time.

Clinic Info: We are a small but busy animal hospital. Our primary clientele consists of cats/dogs, health certificates, spays, neuters, vaccinations, rabies, etc., but we occasionally provide vaccinations, Coggins & colic care for horses. If we obtain a Veterinarian who likes and is proficient with large animals, we can expand in that direction.

We have a part time Veterinarian who is nearing retirement and also a part time Relief Vet at this time. We are growing rapidly and would like a Veterinarian who would like to help us grow. A future buy-in to the company is certainly possible.

We do not provide emergency services, so it is normally 9-5 M-F and one Saturday per month, which can be shared with the other Vets. We have an experienced all female staff who love their work and are easy to work with. Our building is centrally located in Lakeland, Florida on a beautiful lakefront lot. 3 or 4 day weekends are very workable. We are only 2 hours or less from either coast of Florida. Our weather is hot in the summer, but absolutely wonderful 8-9 months a year.

The salary is negotiable, depending on the hours worked: $30,000 - $75,000 per year and will depend on what the Veterinarian wants to put into it. As we grow, we will pass compensation on to the staff with regular raises in pay.
