
FACULTY APPOINTMENT IN COMPANION ANIMAL
EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE
The Department of Clinical Sciences of the
College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University invites
applications for a tenure track faculty position at the
Assistant or Associate Professor level in the section of
Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Candidates must have a DVM
or equivalent degree and should be board certified through the
American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
Responsibilities will include clinical instruction through
service in the Companion Animal Hospital (50%), dedicated
research activity (35%) and the remainder in teaching and
college service contributions.
The Companion Animal Emergency and Critical Care Section
presently includes 3 faculty boarded in Emergency and Critical
Care Medicine. The section operates a standard track residency
program and a formal professional student curriculum. It is
supported by a robust intern program and a fully staffed
Intensive Care Unit that operates 24 hours per day, year round.
Salary will be commensurate with academic credentials and
