Assistant/Associate Professor Of Clinical Anesthesiology

 

Veterinarian with advanced training in veterinary anesthesiology. ACVA board certification or eligibility, or ECVAA board certification, is required. Clinical experience and competence in anesthesiology is required. Demonstrated aptitude/experience in teaching, particularly clinical instruction, is required. Documented record of creative scholarship or potential to develop an independent clinical research program in anesthesiology is required. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere. The position includes a 70% clinical commitment to the Anesthesia Service of the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital with large animal emphasis. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching, provision of health care and service to patients, recognition for accomplishment in a focused area of clinical practice, development of a clinical oriented research program, and university and public service.
